Blake’s Pharmacy has been part of the Kings Cross and Potts Point community since the 1960s.

Since taking over Blake’s Pharmacy in 2011, we have continued to build on that history while expanding the pharmacy to meet the changing healthcare needs of our community.

Today, Blake’s is an independent, locally owned community pharmacy located at 18 Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point, providing pharmacy services to Potts Point, Kings Cross and communities across inner Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs.

More than somewhere to fill a prescription

Of course, we dispense prescriptions. But a large part of what we do at Blake’s goes beyond everyday dispensing.

People often come to us when they need a medicine that is difficult to find, have a more complicated prescription, require a compounded medicine or simply need to speak to a pharmacist who has the time and experience to help.

Our pharmacy has particular experience in specialist and S100 medicines, HIV medicines and PrEP, sexual health, compounding, vaccinations and sourcing medicines that may be difficult to obtain elsewhere.

We work closely with patients, doctors and other health professionals to help solve medication problems and make accessing treatment as straightforward as possible.

Open late. Seven days a week.

We know that people don't only need a pharmacy between 9am and 5pm.

Blake’s Pharmacy is open until 11pm Monday to Friday and until 9pm on weekends, giving our community access to pharmacists, prescriptions and medicines well beyond standard business hours.

Whether you need an urgent prescription filled after work, pharmacist advice in the evening or help finding a medicine, our team is here seven days a week.

Blake’s isn't part of a large pharmacy chain. We're an independent pharmacy with a long history in Kings Cross and Potts Point.

That independence allows us to focus on the needs of the people who actually use our pharmacy.

Our community is diverse, and we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel comfortable asking for help. We provide professional, confidential and respectful care and have private consultation areas available when a conversation requires greater privacy.

Our compounding service allows us to prepare customised medicines when a commercially available product isn't suitable for a patient's individual needs.

Our pharmacists have experience dispensing PrEP, HIV and other sexual health medicines and understand the importance of knowledgeable, confidential and non-judgemental care.

Specialist & S100 Medicines

We regularly dispense specialist and S100 medicines and work with patients and prescribers to help manage more complex prescriptions.

Vaccinations

Our trained pharmacist immunisers provide a range of vaccinations in the pharmacy, with convenient booking options and extended opening hours.

Hard-to-source Medicines

Finding a medicine can sometimes be the hardest part of treatment. Our team regularly helps patients source medicines that may be unavailable or difficult to find elsewhere.

Prescription Delivery

For patients who can't easily get to the pharmacy, we offer prescription delivery throughout our local area.

Our pharmacy is located in the heart of Potts Point and Kings Cross, and we regularly care for patients from surrounding areas including Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Darlinghurst, Paddington, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo, Woollahra, Edgecliff, Double Bay and the Sydney CBD.
